Santosh Engineering

You can find us at Plot No. 287 in Sector 5 of Mvp Colony. Santosh Engineering is just a local workshop where I do all sorts of metalwork and repairs. It’s tucked away in a corner of the colony, so it’s not too loud for the neighbors, I hope. I’ve got my welding machine, a lathe, and a bunch of hand tools scattered across the benches. It is not an organized place like you see in magazines. There are metal shavings on the floor and half-finished projects leaning against the walls. I started this because I like working with my hands and there’s always something that needs fixing in a place like this. My son helps me out on the weekends when he isn't busy. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you just walk into the garage and find me. Usually, I'm wearing my old welding mask or hunched over a piece of iron. The air smells like burnt metal and machine oil most of the time. Sometimes we run out of oxygen for the torch and I have to wait for the delivery truck, which can be a bit of a pain. We just take small jobs from people around the colony and try to do a decent job of it. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop where we work hard and try to keep the equipment running for another day.
