Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital

Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital is situated at Door No. 19-50 in Sri Saimadhava Nagar, over in the Naidu Thota part of Vepagunta. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people find their way here eventually. We focus entirely on eyes here, so the whole building is set up for that. We have different sections for check-ups and more involved procedures. The atmosphere is usually quite focused. You'll see people sitting around with patches over their eyes or waiting to get their vision tested by the staff. We aren't a corporate giant; we just have this one location where we do our work every day. The staff is used to helping people who might be a bit nervous about their eyesight. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just have schedules and charts. The mornings are usually the busiest time when the most people show up at once. By the afternoon, things tend to settle down a little, and we can spend more time on the details. We’ve been in the Vepagunta area for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of people come through our doors. Some are just here for a quick test, and others stay longer. We just try to keep the equipment clean and make sure the doctors have what they need to see clearly into everyone’s eyes. It’s basic, honest work that we do here every day.
