Sai Srs Home Needs

Our shop is right on Krishna College Road in Maddilapalem, which means we are never really alone. Between the students from the college and the families living nearby, there is always someone walking past 54-11-34-3/1. We set up Sai Srs Home Needs to provide the basic stuff people use every day in their houses. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to fit a lot of different things onto the shelves. You’ll find soap right next to notebooks, and snacks piled up near the cleaning supplies. It’s not very fancy, and sometimes we forget to put the price tags on everything, so people have to ask us how much things cost. The traffic on the road can get pretty loud, especially when classes let out at the college. We spend a lot of our time rearranging stock to make room for new items that come in on the delivery vans. The floor is made of plain cement and we sweep it a few times a day, though the dust always finds a way back in. We don't have a big staff, so if we are busy in the back, customers just wait a minute until we come out. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know who likes which brand of tea and who usually comes in on Tuesdays for their weekly groceries. It’s just a simple, everyday business for the neighborhood.
