Sai Medical & Generals

We are located right at the Vunda Colony Junction in Gajuwaka, specifically at 24-107-25 along the Kanthi Road. Sai Medical & Generals is a bit of a mix, as we handle both health-related items and the regular stuff people need for their homes. Visakhapatnam can be quite humid, so the shop often feels like a little refuge for people stepping off the busy street. The junction is always crowded with buses and autos, so there is a lot of movement outside our front door. We see people on their way to work or heading home to Vunda Colony. Often, someone will come in for medicine but then remember they also need some shampoo or a packet of biscuits. It’s a busy spot, and we stay on our feet most of the day. We don’t really have any fancy decorations; the walls are just lined with medicine cabinets and shelves for the general goods. It can be a bit of a juggle to manage both sides of the business, but we have gotten the hang of it over the years. We know many of our customers by their faces, if not their names, and we hear a lot of stories about what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s just a regular local shop trying to be there when someone needs a quick fix for a headache or a last-minute grocery item. We just keep things moving.
