Our Vizag branch for Rieco Industries Ltd is down in Gajuwaka. The address is Door No: 8-450/2 in Ashok Nagar, at a place called Laxmi Nilayam. Vizag is a coastal city, so the air is always a bit salty and the humidity is something you just learn to live with. Gajuwaka is a very busy part of town with a lot of industrial activity. Our office here isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside. It’s just a solid place where we can sit down and handle the local business. We have a lot of paperwork to manage and the phone stays pretty busy during the middle of the day. The locals know the area well, and we’ve become part of the neighborhood over the years. We don't have any big mission statements or posters about being the leaders in the field. We just show up, open the shutters, and start working on whatever is on the desk. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy during the monsoon and the streets get a bit flooded, but we usually manage to keep things moving. It’s a straightforward way to work. We know our neighbors and we know where to get the best lunch nearby. Most of our time is spent making sure the equipment and parts are moving to the right places. It’s honest work and we like being here in Andhra Pradesh. It feels right for what we do.
