R K Hospital

R K Hospital is situated at 26-16-7 in the Old Gajuwaka area. Things are a bit different in this part of town compared to the newer sections. The streets are a little narrower and there is a lot more history in the walls of the buildings. We have been working out of this spot for quite some time now. In the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood waking up, with the vendors calling out and the scooters zooming by. Our building has that old-style layout where the rooms are a bit tucked away. We keep a desk near the entrance where someone is usually sitting to help out. The paint on the window frames is starting to peel a tiny bit, but the place is clean and does what it needs to do. We don’t really go for all those fancy decorations you see in the city hospitals. It’s more about being here for the local people who have lived in Old Gajuwaka their whole lives. Sometimes we sit out on the steps for a minute if it’s a slow afternoon. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. We have a clock on the wall that ticks a bit too loud, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. It’s just a steady, regular place where we get our work done without much fuss.
