You can find us over at Shop No. 2 in the Municipal Shopping Complex. It is right in Pithapuram Colony, not too far from Kalabhaasi. The complex is an older building and there are lots of other shops around us selling different things. Our shop is mostly filled with rolls of cloth and different types of fabric stacked up on the shelves. It gets a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in because the bundles take up a lot of floor space. We have a counter where we measure out the fabric and cut it with big scissors. The lighting is just regular fluorescent tubes, nothing special. Sometimes the dust from the fabric makes the air feel a bit heavy. People come in looking for specific colors or materials for their clothes. We don't have a lot of fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a straightforward shop where we keep things organized the best we can. On some days the market area gets really noisy with people shouting and bikes zooming past the complex entrance. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to pass the time. It is a local spot and we know a lot of the tailors who work nearby. We just stay busy with the measuring and the cutting. It is a simple life running a textile shop in this part of the colony, just regular days one after another.
