Pipavav Shipyard Limited

Our office is located over at the Ak Das Vijay Durga Apartment, specifically Door No. 48-1-30/9. It is right on Reddy Hospital Road in the Sri Nagar area of Visakhapatnam. Being so close to the hospital means the street outside is almost always a bit crowded with cars, autos, and people rushing around. We are Pipavav Shipyard Limited, but this is just one of the spots we operate from. Visakhapatnam is a coastal city, so the air usually has that salt smell to it, which is actually quite nice when there is a breeze. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or handling all the logistics from our desks here. It’s not like being right down on the docks with the ships, but we’re very connected to all of that activity. The apartment building where we are situated is pretty well-known in the local neighborhood. We have some neighbors in the building who have been here just as long as we have. Sometimes we step out onto the balcony just to get a bit of fresh air and a change of scenery during a long afternoon. The work involves a lot of heavy coordinating for all the shipyard operations. It can get pretty stressful when the deadlines are tight, but we always manage to get through it together. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just doing our daily bit for the organization. Sri Nagar is a decent place to work from and we have everything we need close by.
