About People Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Visakhapatnam
Maharani Peta is a busy part of town, and our hospital sits right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We’ve got people coming and going at all hours of the day and night, especially since the front doors never really close. The night shift can feel very long, but there’s always someone needing help with a fever or an injury. The hallways are painted a light blue color that’s started to peel a little bit in the corners where the carts hit the walls. We have different wards for different needs, and the nurses are usually running around with their clipboards and medicine trays. It gets quite loud during the afternoon visiting hours when families bring in home-cooked food and talk in the corridors. We try to keep it orderly, but hospitals are naturally a bit chaotic most of the time. There’s a small canteen nearby that smells like coffee and fried snacks throughout the afternoon. We see everything from minor scrapes and cuts to people who need to stay in a bed for a few days to recover. The beds aren't the softest ones you'll ever find, but they do the job they’re meant for. We have some metal benches outside where people sit to get some fresh air or wait for a ride. It’s a practical place, not a fancy hotel. We just focus on getting people back on their feet so they can go home to Maharani Peta or wherever they live. The stairs are steep so most use the lift.
