Parivrajaka Foundation

You can find us at Flat 101 in the SKML Residency. It’s a quiet enough building in Sheelanagar, right over in Gajuwaka. Parivrajaka Foundation is basically run out of this apartment. We have some desks set up and some chairs for when people come by to talk. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby or a receptionist. We are just in the MIG B area, near block 74 and 92. Living and working in the same neighborhood makes it easy to stay connected to what is happening on the streets. We have lived in Gajuwaka for a long time so we know the people here. We just wanted to have a place where we could focus on some local work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up so we take the stairs. It’s a bit of a walk but it’s fine. We spend most of our mornings answering calls and planning out what needs to be done for the week. It’s a small team, really just a couple of us doing the heavy lifting. We don’t have much in the way of fancy equipment. Just some computers and a lot of notebooks. If you are near the 530012 pin code area you probably know the residency. We just try to stay busy and helpful. It is honest work and we like being here.
