You can find OTT Woven Dreams LLP over in Arilova colony, specifically at Door No 16 336 1 in SKML Nagar. It’s part of Sector-5 in the Visakhapatnam urban area. We deal with textiles and weaving, though the name might sound a bit more poetic than the actual work is. Most of our days are spent surrounded by fabrics and threads. Arilova is a busy part of Vizag, and being in a residential-style colony means we’re close to the people we work with. The building we’re in is pretty standard for the area. We’ve got our looms and our storage spaces all crammed in together. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. We started this because we liked the idea of making things that people actually use in their homes. There’s a lot of trial and error involved in getting a pattern right. Sometimes we spend hours just fixing a snag in the yarn. It’s slow work, and you can’t really rush it if you want it to look decent. We don’t do big TV ads or anything like that. People usually hear about us through word of mouth or by just walking past the shop. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the weaving and the orders that come in. Visakhapatnam is a big city, but our corner of it feels pretty small and tight-knit. We just like seeing the finished product after a long day of working the threads.
