Sri Kala Furniture Park

We are over here at Sandrana Complex. Most people know the spot because it is right by the side of Hotel Sbt in Old Gajuwaka. If you are driving on Nh5, you can't really miss the turn-off for the shop. We have been running Sri Kala Furniture Park for some time now. It’s mostly just us handling the sofas, dining tables, and cupboards that come in and out of the building. The address is 26-17-26/3, which is a bit of a mouthful to say out loud, but it’s the place with all the wooden stuff visible from the road. The street gets pretty busy during the day with all the traffic heading towards the hotel next door. Sometimes it’s dusty because of the highway, but we try to keep the chairs wiped down as well as we can manage. We don’t have a huge staff or anything fancy like that. It is just a straightforward shop where we keep things organized. If you walk inside, you will see rows of beds and wardrobes tucked into the corners. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy pieces around to make space for new stock. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is hitting the front of the complex in the afternoon. People from around Gajuwaka stop by quite often just to see what’s new or to ask about a specific type of wood. We just stay busy with the daily chores of running a furniture place.
