Down here at B-358 in Deepanjali Nagar, life moves at its own pace. This is the Phase-II area of the Ntpc Simhadri colony in Paravada. It’s quite a way out from the main city of Vishakhapatnam, but we like it that way. The air is different here, and the plant is close by. Our office handles the bits and pieces that keep the Simhadri project ticking along from this side. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless it's raining hard. We spend our days looking at schedules and keeping track of things. It’s a lot of routine, but it has to be done right. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have too many meetings, but we get through the pile of work. It’s a practical setup we have here. No one wears fancy suits much; we just dress for the heat and get to work. Deepanjali Nagar is a nice little community, and we feel part of it. If you’re coming from the city, it’s a bit of a drive, but you can’t miss the signs for the power station. We’ve been at this spot for some time, and it’s become like a second home to many of the staff. We aren't here to make a big show of things, just to do the job we were hired for and make sure things stay on track for the plant. It's a steady life for us.
