Working in Visakhapatnam means dealing with the sea breeze and a fair amount of humidity every single day. Our Ntpc Limited office is right here in the city, and it is a spot where we have settled into a very steady rhythm over the years. The city of Vizag is growing fast, with new buildings coming up all the time, but our daily routine stays pretty much the same regardless of the changes outside. We walk in, check the messages, and start working through the pile of things sitting on our desks. It is a plain office without much in the way of decoration or art on the walls. We prefer it that way because it keeps things simple and much easier for us to manage. Visakhapatnam is a place where industry and the coast meet, so there is always a mix of salt air and the sounds of a busy town right outside our windows. We do not go in for big marketing talk or trying to sound like some giant corporation. We are just the local team handling the stuff that needs to be handled for the company. Sometimes we go out for a quick lunch at one of the local rice spots nearby, then it is right back to the office to wrap up the afternoon work. The building is solid and does its job, much like the people working inside it. We have seen the weather change from heavy rains to burning sun, but the work here does not stop for that.
