New Wave Tours & Travels is right here in Dwaraka Nagar on the 5th Lane. Our building number is 47-3-20/1. It is a busy part of Visakhapatnam because Gayatri Jr College is right beside us. You see students walking back and forth all day long. The office is pretty simple. We have our computers and some maps on the wall. It gets noisy outside during the lunch break when the college lets out. We spend most of our time looking at routes and trying to figure out travel timings. Dealing with 530016 traffic is just part of the daily life for us. We aren't trying to be some massive travel agency. We are just a local spot where you can come in and talk about where you need to go. Sometimes the phone rings non-stop and other times it is quiet enough to hear the fan buzzing. We keep some old registers for the records even though everything is on the computer now. It feels more real that way. Being in the heart of the city means we see all kinds of people. Some are planning vacations and others just need to get to a wedding in the next town over. We just do the bookings and handle the small things that people don't want to do themselves. It’s not glamorous work but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just focus on the task at hand and get things done.
