Navodaya Homeo Hospital

If you take the road from the Collector Office down toward the beach, you will find our hospital along that way. It’s a nice enough walk when the weather isn't too hot. We focus on homeopathy here, so you won’t see big machines or heavy equipment like you might in other places. Instead, we have lots of small glass bottles and shelves full of different preparations. The air sometimes smells a bit like the sea because we are quite close to the beach road. It’s a quiet place for the most part. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the regulars. We spend a lot of time listening to people talk about their symptoms and their lives. The building itself is pretty plain and we don’t spend much on decorations. We have a few chairs in the front and a desk where we keep the ledger. It’s all very old-fashioned in a way. We don’t use any marketing tricks to get people in; they usually find us because someone they know told them where we are. It’s a slow pace of work, which suits the kind of medicine we do. We just stay here and keep the bottles filled and the records straight. It’s a simple life for us here near the beach, just helping out where we can.
