Down in Nakkapally, we’ve got this facility where we make medicines. It's a busy place with lots of people coming and going every shift. You see the big buildings from the road and that's where all the technical stuff happens. We have a lot of machines running all the time. It gets loud and there is always a lot of cleaning to do. We follow the rules because you have to when you're making things for health. It's not a small shop, it's quite a large setup. Many people from the surrounding areas work here. We spend our days looking at charts and making sure the batches are right. It’s serious work, but we still have our tea breaks and talk about what's going on in town. The weather gets hot out here, but inside it stays controlled. We have trucks coming in with raw materials and others leaving with the finished products. It’s a constant cycle. Most of us have been here for years and we know the machines like the back of our hand. It might look like a cold factory from the outside, but inside it's just a bunch of people trying to do their jobs right so the medicine gets where it needs to go. It’s hard work, but it keeps the town moving. We just try to keep things running smoothly so there are no delays in the schedule. It's a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time.
