Nagaraj Ice Creem Shop

If you walk down the Main Road in Anakapalle, you will find us at number 53, right near the Kanyaka Parameswari Temple. It is a very busy part of town, especially during the festival days or on weekends when everyone comes to the temple. Nagaraj Ice Creem Shop has been a part of this street for quite some time now. We have a lot of people coming in with their families after they finish their prayers. The street is always loud with bells and people talking, which makes the day go by pretty fast. We spelled the name "Creem" on the board when we first started and just never bothered to change it since everyone knows us by it now. It is a small shop, mostly filled with the cooling units and a few chairs for people to take a rest. The humidity in Anakapalle can be really heavy, so having a cold treat is usually what people are looking for. We don't do much advertising or anything. People just see the shop while they are walking to the market or the temple and stop in. We spend our mornings getting the stock ready and making sure the floors are mopped before the afternoon heat hits. It is a straightforward life here on the Main Road, just keeping the ice cream frozen and seeing the same friendly faces week after week. Sometimes the stray dogs hang around the door because it is cooler there, and we don't mind.
