Murali Krishna Picnic Ice Cream

We started Murali Krishna Picnic Ice Cream a while back here in K.K. Colony. Our shop is at 45-8-72 in Bujabuja, which most people around here know pretty well. It’s not a huge place, but we keep the freezers running all day. People stop by when it gets hot outside, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes kids come in after school, and other times it's just folks from the neighborhood looking for something cold. We mostly just focus on keeping the stock full. It’s a lot of work making sure the electricity stays on and the temperature is right so nothing melts. We’ve seen the colony change a bit over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot. It gets busy during the summer months, and that’s when we’re on our feet the most. We don't do anything fancy with the decor or try to look like those big chain stores you see in the city. It’s just us and the ice cream. We have different flavors in the tubs, and we try to keep the popular ones ready. Sometimes we run out of things if a big group comes by, but that’s just how it goes. If you are walking around Bujabuja, you’ll probably see our sign. It is a simple life running a small shop like this, but it keeps us busy and we know most of our regular customers by their faces now.
