Down here in Chengalaraopeta, we’ve got our office at Door Number 20-114-16. This is where the Andhra Pradesh branch of ITD Cementation operates from. Visakhapatnam is a busy port city, and we’re right in the thick of it. We do a lot of work related to the coast and big construction projects. The office is a bit old-fashioned. We’ve got ceiling fans that have been spinning for years and stacks of files that never seem to get smaller. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in fancy suits. Most of us wear regular clothes and spend half our time out at the project sites anyway. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We build stuff using cement and iron, and we try to do it right the first time. The salt air from the coast can be tough on the equipment, so we’re always cleaning and maintaining things. We know the local shops where we can get a quick coffee. It’s a tight-knit group here. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a schedule we need to stick to. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but we find ways to catch up. We’re just regular folks doing heavy-duty work. If you come by the office, you’ll probably find us arguing over a blueprint or checking the latest supply costs. That’s just a normal day for us.
