M.N.Dastur&Co(P)Ltd

Our office is located at Quarter No.133/F in Sector 10 of Ukkunagaram. This is part of the Visakhapatnam area, mostly where people from the steel plant live. M.N.Dastur&Co(P)Ltd has this space here, and it feels more like a home than a regular office building. K. Siva Prasad is usually here managing the day-to-day things. Since it’s a residential sector, it’s fairly quiet compared to the main city. We have a few rooms set up with desks and chairs. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when all of us are in at the same time. We do a lot of consulting and engineering work, so there are always maps and drawings spread out on the tables. The walls are a plain off-white and we have some shelves for our reference books. We drink plenty of coffee to keep going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes we walk over to the local market for a break. It’s a simple environment. No one wears suits or ties here; we just wear what’s comfortable for the weather. We’ve been in this 530 032 area for a good while and we know the layout of the township well. It’s a practical spot for us to be located. We don't bother with anything flashy; we just sit down and get through the engineering reports that need to be sent out. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. No fuss involved.
