Micron Electricals

We are situated at Mig11 in the Vuda Housing Scheme in Naidu Thota, Visakhapatnam. This is a residential area in Andhra Pradesh, so our shop at Micron Electricals is part of a quiet neighborhood. The air here has that salty feel from being near the coast, which is nice, but it means we have to be careful about metal parts getting rusty. We keep most of our stock inside heavy plastic bags or sealed boxes. The shop is a small room with a simple desk and a couple of chairs for guests. We have been here since the housing scheme was relatively new. Most of our work involves helping out the neighbors with their home electrical needs. We have rolls of wire and different types of bulbs scattered around. The lighting in the shop isn't great, so we usually work by the light coming in through the front door. We don't have a computer system to track things; we just remember what we have or look through the boxes ourselves. It’s a relaxed pace of life. Sometimes we close early if there’s a local festival or if the weather turns bad. We enjoy talking to the people who walk by. It’s a friendly place, and we don't feel the need to make it look like a corporate office. We just do our work, drink our coffee, and help the local community with whatever electrical issues they bring to our door.
