Medlife Hospital

We are located at 15-13-12 in Krishna Nagar, right across from the Boring Pump. That pump is a big landmark for anyone living around here, so we just tell people to look for that. The hospital is a modest building. We don’t have a giant glass front or anything. It’s just a solid brick place where we do our work. Krishna Nagar is a residential area mostly, so we see a lot of families from the nearby houses. Sometimes kids are playing outside on the street while their parents are inside talking to a doctor. The lobby is small, and we have a few benches for people to wait. We try to keep the fans going because it can get quite warm in the afternoons. Our staff consists of local people who know the neighborhood well. It’s a friendly enough place, though we are usually too busy to chat much. We handle the usual stuff—fevers, minor injuries, check-ups. The rooms are basic but they are kept tidy. We’ve had the same sign out front for years and it’s a bit weathered, but people know us. It’s just a local spot for medical help. We open early and stay open until the last patient is seen, which sometimes means we are here quite late into the evening.
