Manipal Women And Child Hospital

We’re located over at C3 Beach Garden Apartments, right across from the Century Club. It’s a nice area, and being a hospital for women and children means our day-to-day is a lot different from a general hospital. You’ll hear kids crying or playing, and there’s usually a lot of families around with strollers. We try to make the place feel a bit more comfortable, though it’s still very much a medical facility. The location near the club is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us for the first time. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish here. Our nurses are great with the little ones, and they have a way of calming things down when it gets a bit chaotic. We handle everything from routine check-ups for toddlers to more specific care for women. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped, especially when both parents and grandparents come along for a visit. We just pull up more chairs and try to make everyone feel okay. We don’t have some big, fancy mission written on the wall. We just show up, see the patients, and help the moms and kids as best as we can. It’s a rewarding place to work, even if it gets loud sometimes. We’re just a local hospital doing our part in the neighborhood near the Beach Garden area. The colorful stickers we keep at the desk usually help cheer up the kids after their shots or long check-ups.
