Manipal Clinics

The clinic is located in the Vurukuti Appana Complex, right in the Old Gajuwaka area. The address is a bit long, 7-15-19, but once you find the complex, Manipal Clinics is easy to spot. It is a bustling part of Gajuwaka with lots of shops and people moving around. The building itself has that worn-in feel that comes with being in a busy commercial hub. Inside our space, we have a few rooms partitioned off for privacy. The waiting area has some chairs that have seen better days, but they are comfortable enough for a short stay. We usually have a local newspaper on the table for people to flip through while they wait. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we are all very familiar with the local area. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just wait for the generator to kick in while we chat. It is a very human place. We don't have a big corporate lobby; it’s more like a neighborhood office where things get done. You can hear the sounds of the market leaking in through the vents. We spend our time filing charts and talking to patients who come in with all sorts of regular complaints. It is just a part of the daily life here in the complex, serving the folks around Old Gajuwaka as best as we can.
