You can find Maguva Boutique right above the Ceat Shopee at Gurudwara Junction. It’s a convenient spot, especially being so close to the Gurdwara. We spend most of our time here with fabrics, threads, and sewing machines. It’s a place where women come to get their outfits sorted out, whether it’s for a regular day or something a bit more special like a wedding. We do a lot of stitching and alterations. Sometimes the shop is full of rolls of cloth and half-finished dresses hanging on the racks. It’s a bit of a workspace as much as it is a shop. We talk to the customers about what they want, take measurements, and try to get the fit just right. It’s not a big corporate store, it’s more of a personal setup where we know a lot of the ladies who walk in. Often, we are working late to finish an order that someone needs for a function.
