L&T Western Andhra Tollways Limited

Our office for the Western Andhra Tollways is a bit different because it’s located in Vuda Colony, specifically at MIG 173 in Chinamushidiwada, Visakhapatnam. It’s essentially a residential setup, which gives it a very homely feel. We’re at the address associated with Y. Kondalarao, and it’s a quiet neighborhood compared to the center of Vizag. Working out of a house means we have a kitchen to make our own tea and a nice porch where we can take a break and breathe some fresh air. It doesn’t feel like a typical office at all. There are trees around and the sound of the neighborhood rather than just traffic. We have converted the main rooms into workspaces with computers and filing systems. It gets the job done without the stress of a high-rise building. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a blessing in a city like Visakhapatnam. We handle a lot of the administrative side of the tollway from here. Sometimes neighbors pop in to chat, and it feels very much like a local operation. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or a security guard at a desk. You just come to the door and find us working. It’s a comfortable, honest way to run a business, and it helps us stay focused on what really matters instead of worrying about appearances.
