We have been operating on Waltair Main Rd for quite a while now. It’s a busy hospital and things never really slow down much. Every morning, you see people lined up before we even get the front doors fully open. It’s just the nature of the job. We have all sorts of patients coming in, from people with a simple cough to those needing much more serious care. The building itself is an older one, so it has its quirks. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or the lights flicker in the hallway, but we deal with it as it comes. The staff here are mostly local people who live nearby. We know a lot of the families who come in because they’ve been using this hospital for generations. Waltair Main Rd is always noisy with the traffic outside, but once you are inside, you sort of tune it out. We don’t have any fancy lounges or anything like that. It’s just rows of chairs and some fans to keep the air moving. Doctors are always running between floors and the nurses have their hands full with the charts. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up and people have to wait longer than they’d like, but we try our best to keep things moving along. It’s a lot of hard work every single day, but that is just what we do here. It's a plain, functional place where people come to get better.
