Larsen & Toubro Limited - -Ecc Division

We are tucked away in Quarter No.203-C, Sector-9, in the Ukkunagaram area of Visakhapatnam. Being part of the Larsen & Toubro Limited - -Ecc Division here means we are right in the middle of the steel plant township. It’s a very specific kind of place to work. Everything around here is connected to the industry, and our office is no different. It’s a staff quarter that we use for our operations, so it’s pretty modest. We’ve got our desks set up and some storage for our equipment and papers. Working in Andhra Pradesh, especially in a place like Vizag, means dealing with the humidity and the coastal air, which keeps things interesting. Most of us have been here long enough that the sounds of the nearby industry just feel like background noise now. We don't go in for big marketing or try to sound like some giant corporation. We are just a group of people making sure the construction and engineering projects in this sector go according to plan. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the supplies arrive when they should. We might not have a shiny office building, but the work gets done just the same. Sector-9 is a decent spot, fairly quiet compared to the main city, which helps when we need to concentrate on technical stuff. We just do our bit every day and keep the projects moving. It's not glamorous, but it is important to the township. We focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry about the rest.
