Lara Interior

Our place, Lara Interior, is located over in Seetharama Residency. If you live around Narasimha Nagar, you probably know the Raithu Bazaar nearby. It’s always crowded over there, especially in the mornings when everyone is getting their vegetables. We’ve got a small setup here in Visakhapatnam. Most of our day is spent looking at floor plans or talking to people about their kitchens. Everyone wants more storage these days, so we end up drawing a lot of cabinets. It’s not always fancy work. A lot of it is just measuring walls and making sure the wood we ordered actually shows up on time. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in traffic near the bazaar, and everything gets delayed by an hour or two. That’s just how things go around here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just like doing the work and seeing a project get finished. It’s a lot of back and forth with the workers and the homeowners. Sometimes we have to tell people that their idea won’t fit in the room they have. It’s better to be honest about that stuff from the start. We drink a lot of tea and spend too much time staring at wood finishes. It’s a practical job and we try to do it properly without making too much of a fuss.
