We are located at Door Number 261 in Block Number 5, right on 6th Road in Jawahar Autonagar. If you know this area, you know it’s the heart of everything related to vehicles and parts. At Lamina Suspension Products Ltd., we focus on suspension products, which basically means a lot of heavy metal and springs. The workshop is always noisy because of the presses and the heat from the furnaces makes the air thick. It’s not a place for someone who likes to keep their clothes clean. We all have grease under our fingernails by the end of the shift. The 6th Road is always busy with lorries coming and going, so getting in and out of the gate can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. We have a lot of different sections in the factory for different parts of the process. It’s a long walk from one end of the block to the other. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the machines better than we know our own cars. We don't have much time for sitting around. When we aren't at the machines, we are usually checking the inventory or loading up a truck. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office; we just want the parts we make to work properly when they are out on the road.
