You have to come up to the second floor of Laxmi Nivas Apartment to find us. Kevin Holidays is in unit number 6, right in the heart of Lawsons Bay Colony. Being near the E-Seva center means there are always people moving about in the building or on the street outside. It’s a busy little pocket of Visakhapatnam. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the elevator is being moody, but we don’t mind it. Inside, the office is pretty basic with a couple of desks and some chairs that have seen better days. We spend our hours looking at maps or staring at the computer screens trying to find the right routes for people. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when the sun hits the windows in the afternoon, but we have a fan that helps. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we work. People come up here to talk about their holiday plans, and we listen and try to write everything down. It’s mostly just us, a few pens, and a lot of printed papers scattered around. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it gets a bit messy with brochures and notes everywhere. We know most of the regulars who live around Lawsons Bay, and it feels like a small community. We stay here until the evening, finishing up the last of the emails before locking up and heading down.
