This branch is located at 1425 on the Vizag High Way in Agraharam. Since we are right on the highway, we see a lot of trucks and cars zooming past all day. It is a very open spot with plenty of room for all the irrigation pipes and equipment we keep outside. The sun hits the yard pretty hard, so everything gets hot to the touch by midday. We have a small office building on the site where we handle the paperwork. Most of the work involves moving large pieces of plastic and metal. It is heavy stuff, so we are always wearing boots and gloves. We get people stopping in who are driving long distances, asking for directions or a bit of water. We do not mind. Inside the office, the air conditioning struggles against the heat, so we keep the windows shut tight. We deal with water systems, so we are always thinking about pumps and valves. It is a practical job. We do not have a lot of fancy furniture. The desks are metal and the chairs are just basic plastic ones. We spend the day loading up orders for farms across the region. The highway noise is something you just stop hearing after a week of working here. It is just how it is. We start early to beat the worst of the heat and finish when the sun goes down.
