You can find us right near the Hanuman Temple in the Jagadamba Center area. The address is 27-4-45, which is very close to the Super Bazaar. It is a pretty crowded part of the neighborhood, but we are easy to spot if you know where the temple is. We have been around this specific area for a very long time. The 1902 in our name is a little nod to our history, even though this building is not actually that old. Inside the shop, it is a mix of old wooden shelves and some newer racks we had to add as we got more stock. We handle a lot of the regular items that people in this part of town need for their homes. It is mostly daily essentials. The shop is a bit small and the aisles are narrow, so you have to watch your elbows. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names because they have been coming here for years. We do not bother with any fancy marketing or big signs. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the steps for a bit until it comes back on. We are not trying to be the biggest store. We just want to keep the shelves stocked for the neighbors.
