You can find us at the Sri Mahalakshmi Automobile Works area in Pisinikada. It’s part of the Anakapalli Mandal near Visakhapatnam. This isn't your typical office building. We share space near the workshops because that's where the machines are kept. Itd Cementation India Ltd has been working out of this spot in Andhra Pradesh for a good while now. There is always the sound of engines and tools clanking in the background. It gets very humid here, and we all end up pretty sweaty by midday. We don't have a big sign or a fancy entrance. People usually find us by looking for the construction gear. We keep our schedules pinned to a board and try to stay on top of the projects. It's a lot of talking to the drivers and the site workers to keep things moving. We drink a lot of water and try to stay out of the sun when we can. The team here is small but we know the work inside out. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just handle the cement and the steel and make sure things get built. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to scramble. It is just the way the construction business works. We are just a group of guys getting it done. It’s a lot of long hours.
