Industrial Marine & Hardware is situated at Dr No: 28-9-1 in the Suryabagh area. Being so close to the water, we naturally ended up focusing on marine supplies. We sell all kinds of hardware that is built to handle the salt and the wet conditions near the sea. The shop is quite small, but we managed to fit a huge amount of stock inside. You will see coils of rope, heavy anchors, and piles of stainless steel bolts everywhere you look. The air in this part of town usually smells a bit like the ocean. We have been running this place as a family for many years now. There are only a few of us working here, so we handle everything from unloading the trucks to talking with the customers. If someone needs a specific part for a boat, they usually come to us because they know we likely have it buried somewhere in the shop. We aren't always great at answering the phone because we are often busy in the back moving heavy crates around. Sometimes the delivery trucks cause a bit of a traffic jam on the street, but that’s just part of life in Suryabagh. We don't have any glossy catalogs or big advertisements. Most people hear about us from other folks working on the docks. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we like being part of the local community and helping keep the boats running.
