Indus Hospitals sits right by the Jagadamba Junction on KGH Down Road. It’s one of those places that everyone in the neighborhood recognizes. Being near the junction means there is always noise from the traffic and people outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. The hospital is a busy place itself. We have people coming in from early morning until late at night. The setup is pretty basic. We have the consultation rooms, the pharmacy, and the inpatient areas. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re better than anyone else. We’re just here to provide medical help. The doctors have their schedules, and we try to stick to them, even when things get delayed. It’s a lived-in building. You can see the wear on the floors where people have walked for years. We think that shows we’ve been useful. Our staff is mostly local, so they talk the same way as the patients. It’s a comfortable atmosphere in that sense. There’s no pressure to be anything other than a functional hospital. If you’re coming from the junction, we’re just a short walk down. We handle the daily health issues that come up in a big city like this without making a big fuss about it.
