Rao & Sons has been a fixture in Indira Nagar for quite a while now. It’s a family thing, passed down and kept going through the years. Our place isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a building in a busy part of the neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a counter that’s seen better days. We don't have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to look professional. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. Most of the people who come in are regulars we’ve known for a decade. We talk about their families while we handle the business. Indira Nagar can get crowded, especially on the weekends, so the noise from the street is always there. The floor is a bit uneven in the back room, so you have to watch your step. We spend a lot of time just keeping the books in order and making sure the stock is where it should be. It’s not a fast-paced life, but it keeps us busy enough. My sons help out when they can, though they have their own things going on too. We don’t try to be something we aren't. We are just a local business trying to do things the way we’ve always done them. It is simple work, and we are happy to stay right here in the neighborhood.
