Indian Railways

The office at No:1C in Nandan Enclave is situated on Kdpm School Road, which means there is always a bit of life outside. Being in East Point Colony in Visakhapatnam, we get a bit of that sea air, though the humidity is usually quite high. Indian Railways has this small branch here to keep things running smoothly in this part of the city. The noise from the school nearby is something we have all gotten used to over the years. It’s a simple office with whitewashed walls and basic furniture. We spend most of our time updating records and talking to people who come in with queries. There is nothing polished about the way we work. It’s just about getting the tasks done one by one. Our desks are covered in ledgers and various stamps. We don't use much fancy technology, mostly just the essentials to keep track of the regional work. The staff here is friendly and we usually share snacks during the afternoon dip in energy. It’s a practical place where nobody puts on airs. We are just a small group of people doing our jobs in a quiet corner of Vizag. The building is modest, and we like it that way because it’s easy to manage and close to everything we need. Most of our days are spent just looking at the clock and making sure we get through the paperwork before the evening rush starts.
