Over at D No. 49-27-25 in Madhura Nagar, you’ll find Ignis Exim Pvt. Ltd. It is situated in the Madhav Nagar area, which is a mix of houses and small businesses like ours. Our office is part of a larger building that has been around for quite some time. The walls are painted a dull cream color and we have a few plants near the entrance that we forget to water sometimes. It’s not a place with glass walls or modern art. Instead, we have wooden shelves filled with samples and folders. The street outside is usually lined with parked bikes, and kids sometimes play cricket nearby when the school is out. We do our best to stay organized, but with the amount of paperwork involved in exim work, things get a bit messy. The air conditioner works most of the time, but we usually leave the door open to get a breeze. We have a small table where we take our breaks and talk about things other than work. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to make the place look perfect for photos. It is just a real office where we handle our business every day. Most people who come here are regulars who know exactly where to pull up their scooters.
