You’ll find us over at C-34 in the Zinc Officer’s Colony, right near the Zinc Smelter post office in Visakhapatnam. This part of Andhra Pradesh is where we’ve set up our base. It’s a company colony, so it has that specific feel where work and home life kind of blend together. We’ve been part of the landscape here for years. The smelter is the main thing nearby, and our office handles the logistics and management stuff that keeps it going. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing too fancy. We spend our days looking at schedules and dealing with the local operational needs. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes things a bit rusty, so there’s always maintenance to think about. We don’t use any big corporate talk here. We just talk like regular people trying to get through the work week. Sometimes we grab lunch together at the local mess or just chat about how the heat is hitting us that day. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our section, but it gives us time to see what’s happening around the site. We focus on the zinc business because that’s what we know. It’s steady, honest work and we’ve got a good group of people here who just want to get the job done without any fuss. The colony life is quiet, and we like that it keeps us away from the city traffic.
