Hetero Labs/Drugs Ltd

Hetero Labs is tucked away in N. Narsapuram Village, which falls under the Nakkapalli Mandal. It is quite a distance from the main hub of Sanath Nagar, but this is where we do our work. The setting is very rural, surrounded by fields and small houses, which is a bit different for a pharmaceutical company. We have a large site here and there are different blocks for different stages of the drug making process. Many of us travel quite a way to get here every morning. The village life goes on around us while we are inside handling the technical stuff. It is a quiet place except for the sounds of the cooling systems and the trucks that come to collect the finished goods. We have a lot of local folks working in various roles, from the garden to the maintenance crew. The canteen food is pretty simple but it fills you up. We don't have many visitors out here because it is so far off the main track. Most of our days are spent following the standard procedures and keeping the logs updated. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s steady work. The weather can get really hot in this part of the country, so we are glad for the ventilation inside. It is a practical, hard-working atmosphere where everyone knows what their job is and they just get on with it. Sometimes the local kids play cricket near the perimeter wall during the evenings.
