Our team is based out of Unit 2 in Duvvda. It’s a big site where we handle a lot of the injectable medicines. Most days involve a lot of checking and re-checking. The Backsi area is where most of the heavy lifting happens. We have a lot of people coming in for shifts at all hours. It isn't the kind of job where you sit around and talk much; there is always something that needs to be bottled or packaged. The facility is set up for high volume, so it stays pretty organized, though it can get a bit hectic when a big shipment is going out. We’ve been operating in this part of the country for a long time. It’s a bit out of the way, but that gives us the space we need for the labs and the storage. We don't really do the whole flashy marketing thing. We just make the medicine and get it onto the trucks. A lot of the staff live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. We focus on the vials and the ampoules mostly. It's a lot of technical work, making sure everything is sterile and the dosages are exactly what they should be. It’s just what we do. No one here is looking for an award, we just want to get the day's production done right so we can head home to our families.
