Flyways Travel Desk

Our office for Flyways Travel Desk is situated on Station Road in Dondaparthi. Being right opposite the DRM Office means we are in a very central part of Visakhapatnam. Since the railway station is so close, there is a constant flow of travelers and commuters walking past our door. You can hear the trains sometimes if the wind is blowing the right way. The office is a practical space where we handle all sorts of travel inquiries. We have a couple of old computers and a printer that makes a lot of noise when it’s working. Most of our day is spent checking flight availability or helping people figure out their train connections. It’s a bit of a fast-paced area, so people often come in with a lot of questions and not much time. We do our best to find what they need on the screen while the traffic hums outside on Station Road. The walls of the office are a bit plain, maybe just a map or two, but it’s enough for what we do. We drink a lot of tea to stay alert, especially when the morning rush starts. It is just a few of us working here, trying to keep up with all the requests that come in over the phone and from the street. We stay until the trains slow down in the evening, then we close up the desk and head home ourselves, ready to do it again tomorrow.
