Our spot for Flsmidth Minerals Pvt Ltd is located in the Anakapalli area, specifically in Kotturu N.R.Peta. This is part of the Vishakhapatnam district. It is a bit of a drive from the main Vizag city, located near Paravada. The area is very industrial because of the various plants around here. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a building where we manage the local mineral business. There is a lot of dust from the roads because of the heavy trucks that pass by all day long. We have to wipe down the desks every morning before we start. The weather is usually quite humid being so close to the coast. We deal with a lot of local workers and contractors who come in and out. Most of the day is spent checking on equipment or talking to the guys on the site. We drink a lot of coffee to stay alert. The office walls are a bit plain, maybe a calendar or two hanging up. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you just find one of us sitting at a desk. It’s a practical way to work. We are right in the thick of the industrial belt, so we see the reality of the mineral industry every single day. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there is always something that needs to be sorted out with the machinery.
