If you know the area near the Sai Baba Temple in Akkayapalem, then you probably know where our office is. We are at 49, 413, and it’s a pretty busy little corner. You can hear the temple bells sometimes during the day, which is a nice break from the sound of the phones and the trucks. We do a mix of engineering and contracting, which basically means we are never in one place for very long. One day we are checking levels at a site, and the next we are sitting in the office trying to figure out why a supplier is late with a delivery. It's a lot of juggling. The humidity here can get pretty bad, so the office AC is usually running full tilt when we are inside. We aren't big on fancy presentations or long meetings that don't go anywhere. We’d rather just be out in the field seeing how the work is actually progressing. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we’ve seen about every problem you can imagine on a job site. From leaky pipes to bad soil, we just deal with it as it comes. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't use a lot of big words when a simple explanation will do. That’s just how we operate here in Akkayapalem. Just local guys getting the job done. The temple being right there reminds us to stay calm when a project gets stressful or when the weather turns bad on us.
