We are based on Scindia Road, situated not too far from the main flyover. It’s a very industrial spot, so there is always a lot of noise from heavy vehicles and machinery around us. We deal with steel, which is heavy and often quite dirty work most of the time. The office is located right there alongside the main storage area where the materials are kept. It’s certainly not the kind of place where you’d expect to see people in suits and ties. Most of us are just in our boots and regular work clothes throughout the day. We spend the whole day moving heavy stock or checking through orders for the next morning. The flyover makes it pretty easy for people to find where we are, but the traffic underneath can be a real nightmare in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We’ve been operating from this same location for quite some time now. We don't have a marketing team or any fancy brochures. We just talk directly to the builders and the contractors who need material for their various construction projects. Sometimes the yard gets a bit messy and crowded when a large shipment comes in, but we eventually clear it all out and get things organized again. It's a very practical business at its core. We deal with the basics of what people need to build things. There’s a small tea stall nearby where we go for our breaks. It’s just regular people doing their job and going home.
