We are based at B-7 T/22 in the A.U. Staff Qrts, which is right opposite the A.U. High School in Vizag. Udaykanthsetti is here managing the daily operations. This part of Andhra Pradesh has its own rhythm, and being near the university grounds gives the area a bit of a different feel than the more industrial parts of town. You can hear the school bells and the sounds of students during the day. Our office is a modest space within the staff quarters. It is not a corporate plaza, but it serves us well for keeping our records and handling the local business. We deal with a lot of technical stuff, so there are usually manuals and parts lists lying around on the desks. Vizag is a coastal city, so we have to deal with the salty air and the humidity, which can be tough on the equipment if we are not careful. We keep things very informal here. If someone drops by, they just pull up a chair and we talk. We do not have a formal reception or a dress code. Most of our work involves making sure the local clients have what they need and that our logistics are on schedule. It is a humble setup, but we have everything we need to keep things moving forward every day.
