Our office is on the second floor, right above Dhanalakshmi Bank in the Cbm Compound. It is a busy spot on Vip Road. Being upstairs means we get a bit of a view of the traffic, but it stays fairly quiet inside compared to the street. We work with wood and related materials every day. Deccan Truwood has been part of this neighborhood for some time. We aren't big on flashy signs or decorations. Inside, you’ll see desks piled with samples and paperwork. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. The staff here is small. We usually take our lunch breaks together or grab something from the shops nearby. It’s a convenient location for people to find us since everyone knows the bank downstairs. We don't have a big corporate lobby. When you walk up the stairs, you just come straight into where we work. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we end up taking the stairs anyway. It’s good exercise. We deal with various wood products and manage the distribution from here. It is mostly about keeping track of orders and making sure the logistics side of things doesn't get messy. We prefer a straightforward way of doing business. No complicated talk, just honest work. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of Vip Road and the people who stop by for meetings. It is a decent place to spend our day and we keep things moving along steadily.
