About Clinical Research Co Ordinator Yashoda Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Visakhapatnam
I work as the clinical research coordinator over at Yashoda Hospital. My office is tucked away in one of the administrative sections of the building. To find me, people often ask for the son of Ch Sri Rama Murthy, as that’s how I’m listed in some of the local records here. It’s a busy hospital, so there are always people moving around and the sound of carts being pushed down the hallways. My main job is to keep track of the different research studies we have going on. It involves a lot of talking to patients and making sure all the paperwork is filed exactly right. It’s not the most glamorous part of the hospital, but it’s necessary for the doctors to do their work. The desk I have is usually covered in folders and consent forms. Sometimes I feel like I spend more time with my stapler than anything else. Being part of the Yashoda team means you see a lot of things every day. It can be a bit draining, but you get used to the pace after a while. I’m just one person in a much bigger system, trying to keep the research side of things organized. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, and working at the hospital feels like a good way to be part of the community. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I just take it one day at a time, making sure every record is kept straight.
